LD Lines are introducing a new fast ferry service between Portsmouth and Le Havre from Easter 2010 complementing the conventional ferry crossing on this route. With a crossing time of only three and a quarter hours, the 'Norman Arrow' will leave Portsmouth at 08:30 arriving Le Havre 12:45 (local time); returning from Le Havre at 18:30 arriving in Portsmouth at 20:45. The 'Cote d'Albatre' will depart Portsmouth at 23:00 arriving in Le Havre at 08:00 the following morning and return leaving Le Havre at 17:00 returning Portsmouth at 21:30.
The 'Norman Arrow' is suitable for all types of tourist traffic, cars, caravans, motorhomes ,motorbikes etc and the introduction of this new fast service gives clients the option of a day time fast ferry crossing or an overnight crossing.
